Which indexes faster: Google's blog search link crawling or Google's "suggest a site to crawl" protocol?
Cf. http://www.scottkom.com
ALSO: Check out the new HCMR!

When they watched us dance Ballroom, they used to tell me that we didn't dance well together.
And I listened to them, for some reason, and in so doing I forgot the most important fact: we enjoy dancing together. We did then and we do now. And that--is what actually matters.
Thanks again for the Jive.

I've finally figured out the solution to the problem of invitation lists...! Just assign each e-mail address a RAND() with Excel and then sort in order.
That way, everyone knows who was invited BUT doesn't know the though process of the hosts. I guess it's a good thing *certain other* people never thought of this....
Geez, maybe I should write a paper....

They say that these are not the best of times So push a bit and see how far they'll go Try an Exp(.) representation It's curvature's the way the wind will blow
And times do change as somebody there must surmise And then you only try your best to recognize For we are always what our situations hand us It's either sadness or euphoria
So we'll derive and we'll integrate And realize that nothing's ever changed For all our functional exp(erience) Our space of derivations is the same
Now we distribute like a gamma sans parameter With singularities when no diameter So we choose a branch of log(x) by its argument It's either sadness or euphoria
How thoughtlessly we dissipate our e-nergies Perhaps we don't fulfill each other's fantasies And as we stand upon each other's Riemann surface With our respective similarities It's either sadness or euphoria

Mmmm, mathematics and green tea = life's simple pleasures, QED. (Although Prof. Elkies might disagree with my choice of tea, given his recent airline experience....)
